AfterCollege and the National Organization for Associate Degree Nursing Establish Network to Connect Nursing Schools With Employers
SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 23, 2007 - The National Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (N-OADN) and AfterCollege, Inc., the nation's largest career network specializing in recruitment at the college level, today announced a strategic partnership that will provide students at over 950 ADN nursing programs throughout the country with access to exclusive scholarships and job opportunities.
AfterCollege will be the exclusive career resource provider for N-OADN, setting up a Job Resource Center for the organization as well as Job Resource Centers for individual ADN Programs throughout the nation. These Resource Centers will provide Associate Degree Nursing students with access to relevant jobs, allowing them to compare and contrast opportunities from employers on a local and nationwide level. The combined network of schools and employers will result in a more relevant and accurate information exchange between employers and job seekers.
The partnership will also create the AfterCollege/N-OADN Scholarship Program which will award scholarships throughout the year to students enrolled in accredited ADN programs.
